If you need an Apprentice, for example an office junior or junior secretary, or you have vacancies for Learners in other areas, you can rely on our support. This includes, but is not limited to:-

We have many school leavers who are now keen to obtain jobs with local employers and have opted for an Apprenticeship to get on the career ladder. The first year after they leave school is crucial in developing good employment disciplines and practices. Not only will you help to prepare these young people to reach their potential in a worthwhile career, but you will reap the rewards of helping to develop their skills and understanding of current business practice.

Employers are asked to pay a minimum training allowance to the apprentice, to review the allowance at regular intervals following satisfactory progress and to allow day release for College (approximately 30 days per year).

For Administration, IT, and Hairdressing, we are able to offer a flexible "Off-the-Job" package which requires less time away from the workplace. In addition, for any employer willing to offer a work placement opportunity for a school leaver not yet ready to take up an apprenticeship, we are willing to pay the weekly training allowance in certain situations. 

If you have an existing employee aged 16 –18, you can benefit by putting them on an Apprenticeship Programme.
